Teaching

I teach acupressure and shiatsu massage therapy to massage therapists, other healthcare professionals, and the public.  My hands-on workshops will empower you to use these safe and effective healing techniques to help those seeking relief from pain and stress.

I am approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider, and I offer continuing education credit for all my workshops and courses for massage therapists.

I am a Registered Instructor in shiatsu with the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA), and regularly teach a 90-hour course in shiatsu at  the Program in Therapeutic Massage at the Community College of Rhode Island.  I have given trainings and talks at the AMTA New England Regional Conference, AMTA Rhode Island, Brown University Medical School, Women and Infants Hospital, Harvard University Health Services and many other venues.

Please contact me if you are interested in hosting a training at your massage school, healthcare facility or wellness event.
